Terms of use

The service
DocBunker (docbunker.app), published by SL LABS (see the legal notice), lets a professional share documents with their clients in a private folder reachable by link, collect comments, and follow the activity. The service offers a free plan and paid plans (see the Pricing page), and may evolve.
Professional use only
DocBunker is intended exclusively for users acting for professional purposes. By signing up you declare that you act as a business: the consumer right of withdrawal therefore does not apply to subscriptions.
Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans (Pro, Business) are billed in advance, monthly or yearly (yearly billing is 11 months of service for 12), by card through Stripe. Displayed prices are the prices you pay: VAT is not applicable (French small-business exemption, art. 293 B CGI). The subscription renews automatically until it is canceled.
You can change plan or cancel at any time from your Subscription page. A plan change is prorated; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, with no refund of the current period unless the law requires it. If a payment fails, the plan may be suspended after several attempts and the account returns to the free plan: your documents are kept, but you can no longer exceed its limits (creating folders, uploading files).
Account and access
The professional signs in with their e-mail address and a one-time code. They are responsible for the confidentiality of their mailbox and of the links they share: anyone holding the client link can open the folder while the link is active. They can revoke or regenerate it at any time.
The professional’s responsibility
The professional is responsible for the documents they upload and their lawfulness, and for informing their clients about how their data is processed. For this data, they are the data controller and DocBunker is their processor (see the privacy policy).
Prohibited content
You must not upload unlawful content or malware, nor try to bypass the security scan, the rate limits or other people’s access. Files judged dangerous by the scan are blocked then deleted. In case of proven abuse or a threat to security we may suspend a folder; unless urgent, we warn you beforehand by e-mail and give you the chance to explain or to fix the situation.
Security scan
Every file is scanned before it becomes available. The scan relies on rules that detect known threats: it reduces the risk without removing it. You remain responsible for the security of your own devices.
Availability
We aim for 99% availability of the service on a yearly average, excluding scheduled maintenance (announced where possible, preferably outside business hours) and excluding force majeure or the failure of an infrastructure provider beyond our control. This target is not a guarantee of result: in case of significant unavailability you may rely on your statutory rights, in particular a proportionate reduction of the price. Keep a copy of your important documents.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent or gross negligence, for personal injury, and in every case where the law requires it. For a slight breach of an essential obligation (one whose performance makes the proper execution of the contract possible and on which the user can legitimately rely), our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise, our liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Termination
The professional can delete their folders at any time, which erases their files. To delete all their data, they can write to contact@docbunker.app. After the subscription ends, they can export their documents for 30 days; after that the data is deleted, unless the law requires it to be kept.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may change the service and these terms. Significant changes are notified to you by e-mail at least 30 days before they take effect; if you do not accept them, you can cancel before that date and the subscription ends at the end of the current period.
Severability
If a provision of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the others remain in force.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and unless a mandatory rule provides otherwise, the French courts have jurisdiction.
